A local authority has settled with a former worker, who accused it of discrimination.
Ex-community development officer Mark Wilkins took Calne town council - which operates in north Wiltshire - to an employment tribunal over his complaints, This is Wiltshire reports.
The hearing was told that council bosses granted Mr Wilkins, who suffered from depression, long-term sick leave in June last year but just two months later decided to fire him.
He claimed that council officials acted too quickly and failed to follow correct procedure when he was having personal problems.
Following negotiations which took place behind closed doors, the two sides decided to settle the case.
The amount of money and the terms of the agreement were not revealed.
Among the attendees at the tribunal were former town clerk Ann Kingdon, former mayor Roy Golding, town clerk Linda Roberts and councillor Alan Hill.
