A former council officer has been successful in her claim of unfair dismissal, the South Wales Evening Post reports.
Julie Jones, a former council officer, claimed that harassment and bullying by managers drove her out of her position.
Since resigning from her job at Swansea council - which is headquartered in the city's Civic Centre - the mother of two has been unemployed.
Commenting on her victory, she said: "The employment tribunal has decided that I was fully entitled to react to the way I was treated by resigning and that I was constructively dismissed."
She added: "I think we are entitled to a local government that acts with integrity towards its employees as well as towards those who elected it."
Ms Jones went on to say that it would be encouraging to discover that lessons had been learned as a result of her case.
