A former finance officer has been successful in her claim of unfair dismissal, the Burnley Citizen reports.
Karen Deighton had worked at the Colne Open Door Centre, a charitable trust established in 1998 to respond to the needs of people living in Colne and the surrounding area.
The 44-year-old alleged that former trustees chairman Brian Holmes and his wife Stella had bullied her because she did not believe in God.
She also claimed she was "preached at" by the couple because she did not understand that Christian ethos of the organisation.
Ms Deighton told a tribunal that the stress of working at the centre had made her ill and she had been dismissed in 2006 after working for the organisation for a year.
The damages to be received will now be determined at a remedy hearing in Manchester on a date yet to be decided.
