A city lawyer may be in line to receive £13 million in compensation over claims she was bullied and suffered sexual discrimination at work.
Gill Switalski resigned from her £140,000 a year position at European investment group F&C Asset Management after suffering what she claims was a campaign of harassment.
The 51-year-old, who is a mother of two disabled children, alleges that the treatment she received at work left her with post traumatic stress and adjustment disorder.
She says that she was repeatedly questioned by her line manager Marrack Tonkin over her working hours, which included operating from home one day a week to spend more time with her family.
According to Ms Switalski, she was questioned as to why she was not in the office and Mr Tonkin secretly asked junior members of staff how much time she took off.
F&C Asset Management deny the claims and have lodged an appeal.
