A former housemate on Channel 4 series Big Brother is taking a libel case to appeal, the Press Association reports.
Appeal judges have said they will give their ruling on Lisa Jeynes' case on Thursday morning.
The 39-year-old model wants to sue Love it! magazine and the News of the World, claiming she was portrayed as a man posing as a woman in the publications.
Specifically, she is complaining about the use of the phrase: "[Big Brother's] Lisa 'the geezer': My fake boobs fell out on date with James Hewitt!"
According to Jeynes, the implication was that she was really a transgender or transsexual, particularly given that there were rumours circulating that there was to be a transsexual contestant on the series.
The eighth series of Big Brother in the UK was broadcast last summer, with a further three series already confirmed.
