Golfer Greg Norman's wife is to receive a divorce settlement of £50 million.
The settlement was reached after Norman and his wife of 25-years had been embroiled in a year-long courtroom struggle.
The two-time Open Championship winner had attempted to resist demands that he divide his fortune equally with his wife on the grounds that she had not contributed to his success in the sport.
A court statement on his behalf said: "The wife did not teach the husband how to swing a golf club. The wife did not teach the husband how to win.
"The golf swing and the success as a professional golfer which the husband brought into this marriage opened commercial doors during the course of this marriage which would otherwise not have been available."
However, it is thought that Mr Norman acceded to his wife's demands to spare his new - girlfriend former-tennis star Chris Evert - having to appear in court.
