Financial guru faces fraud charges
A business expert has appeared in court on charges that she helped her husband commit fraud at his boat-building business.

Nerys Fuller-Love,48, and her husband Donald,56, both of Aberystwyth, are accused of running their business into the ground so as to transfer the assets - but not the £300,000 debts - to a new company they had formed the day before it went bust.

It is also alleged that Mrs Fuller-Love, who had published a book to school small businesses in accounting, had not maintained ordered accounts and that her husband stole a European Union grant of £135,000.

Mr Fuller-Love faces four charge of fraudulent trading, while his wife faces a single charge of aiding and abetting him. Both deny the charges.

Mrs Fuller-Love, who was once a panel member of the Economic Development Panel for the Welsh Assembly Government, frequently appears on radio and television in the capacity of financial expert on business start-ups.
