Will Writing Service for Members of the Prospect Trade Union
What is a Will & What Does the Service Provide?
A Will for yourself and a spouse or partner at a discounted rate. A simple standard online Will is provided to you free of charge, with a mirrored version for your spouse or partner.
What if My Will is More Complicated?
We appreciate that most members have family circumstances and Will plans that require the preparation of a more comprehensive Will. For more complex Wills that cannot be done through the online service you should speak to one of our team who will provide you with a Wills questionnaire. When we receive your completed Will Questionnaire, we will consider what additional action may be required, and we will recommend what non-standard provisions should be included in your Will to personalise it to cover precisely your exact requirements.
In these circumstances we use the structure of the standard Will and then as a benefit of your Prospect membership we charge a discounted fixed fee for the elements which are tailored to your individual wishes. So if you have any additional requirements please do advise us, we always give you the opportunity to accept our fee before proceeding or to revert back to a simple standard Will.
How Does this Service Work?
We offer an online service to Prospect members, which ensures the efficiency and speed.

Questions about Wills & Probate
If you have any queries regarding Wills and Probate matters in general which are unconnected to your own Will then our Legal Advice Team are available on a 24 hour helpline to ensure that any queries you have are answered by trained professionals.
What Can I Expect from the Wills Service?
With the online service you will receive a word version of your completed will instantly at the end of the process.
For more complex wills that can not be done using the online service you should speak with our team. Every Will Questionnaire is acknowledged by correspondence. We will telephone you to clarify any instructions to ensure that the legal wording used reflects your actual wishes as an individual.
While enclosing your draft Will we ensure that we advise you of any relevant areas of law that we feel you should be aware of. This advice may relate to family law, property law, succession as according to intestacy, and trust law. This ensures that you are fully aware of the implications of your instructions for both yourself and your estate and generations to follow.
When you approve of your draft Will your final copy will be sent out within 24 hours wherever possible. Finally, upon receipt of your signed copy we will check to ensure its validity and will send you copies to keep with your papers at home.
