Experience Profile

Samuel is based in the Bristol Office which deals with matters throughout the South West.

Samuel deals with matters encompassing all aspects of criminal and Police Misconduct investigations together with the preparation of cases before the Magistrates’ Courts, Crown Courts and Police Misconduct hearings.  

Samuel has experience in representing Police Officers in relation to the investigation of Police Misconduct allegations and preparing cases for misconduct hearings.

Samuel has experience dealing with the full range of criminal allegations including road traffic offences, public order matters, serious assaults, sexual offences, frauds and thefts, drug offences, allegations of perverting the course of justice and misconduct in public office. Furthermore Samuel has experience of dealing with proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

Samuel joined Russell Jones and Walker, now Slater and Gordon, in 2008 having spent five years working for a firm of solicitors in East Anglia undertaking criminal defence work.

Samuel graduated from the University of East Anglia with a Law Degree in 2002. Following this Samuel joined a firm of Solicitors where he became an accredited police station representative in 2004 and he qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2008.

Samuel is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
