Simon is an industrial disease lawyer at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Cardiff.

He has more than 20 years experience dealing with personal injury claims and for the last three has specialised in noise induced hearing loss.

Before moving into the industrial disease department, Simon spent 12 years in the trade union services department undertaking all forms of employers’ liability personal injury work for the firm’s major union clients, USDAW, the GMB and UNITE.

He maintains contact with the firm’s union clients by regularly attending trade union functions and meetings whenever possible.

He also represented 60 GMB union clients who contracted Q Fever - a rare disease caused by a highly infectious pathogen - in a successful group litigation action.
