Martyn is a Senior Personal Injury Lawyer at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Manchester who acts exclusively on behalf of injured military service personnel.

He handles claims involving all the three services of the Armed Forces, the Reserve Forces as well as those concerning military personnel involved in accidents and suffering injury whilst off duty.
These can include injuries sustained in training, while on exercise, overloading injuries and manual handling injuries.

Martyn is currently working on a diverse range of cases including neurological injury due to prolonged exposure of neuro-toxic agents, a traumatic brain injury sustained in a road traffic accident in Iraq and for commonwealth soldiers suffering from non-freezing cold injuries.

He is also handling a range of medical negligence claims including several claims for the delayed diagnosis of a tropical disease picked up in Afghanistan, undiagnosed and untreated psychiatric conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder and a range of other claims for undiagnosed or untreated orthopaedic injuries, cardiac conditions and cancers.

His past experience includes pursuing claims for personal injury and medical negligence and he also represents clients at inquest.
