Kiran Sharma Trainee Solicitor, Group Litigation

Experience Profile

Kiran is a Trainee Solicitor in the London Group Litigation Department and has had previous experience in the field of Group Litigation before joining Slater and Gordon in 2014.

Kiran is currently involved in cases regarding the mis-selling of interest rate derivatives and has gained in-depth knowledge and experience in this area. Kiran is working alongside Solicitors in the team to gain redress for clients who have been mis-sold such products. She is also assisting in the leading case in this area of law, Crestsign Limited -v- National Westminster Bank Plc and The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc which is in the appeal process.

Kiran is also assisting on a project called Green Oil Plantations Limited which involves the mis-selling of pension investment schemes.

In the past Kiran has been involved in the Mau Mau litigation which is a personal injury group action claim on behalf of Kenyan citizens.

Kiran graduated with a 2:1 LLB Hons degree from Oxford Brookes University before undertaking the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford and graduating with an Commendation.
