Keith is a very experienced solicitor, he is focused and determined with all areas of litigation but specialises in inheritance and trust disputes as well as being an engaging mediator. There are relatively few times in life when you will need the assistance of a lawyer for your personal matters. As such Keith will guide you through the process and ensure that you get sensible advice whilst assessing the risks and making sure you are making informed decisions to prevent costs escalating out of control. Keith joined Slater & Gordon in 2013 having worked at Mellor & Jackson since 1987. He is a solicitor who is a Registered Contentious Trust and Probate Specialist.
Keith is a Council Member of the Law Society and represents solicitors practising civil litigation. In 2006, Keith was elected as the President of the Oldham Law Association.
Keith has undertaken many charitable expeditions and recently volunteered in a small village in the north of Sabah, Malaysia to install a gravity feed water supply for a village that had no clean water. Keith serves on the panel judging the Law Society's Bursary and Diversity Access schemes. He is also a judge of the annual moot competition for the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting.
He has been interviewed on legal topics by local and national media, including (click links to see the articles): The Times, Radio 2, the Manchester Evening News and the Oldham Chronicle. For many years Keith was the legal adviser live on air for Oldham radio station 96.2FM The Revolution. Several of his cases have been reported in local press.
For several years now, Keith has also lectured on all areas of law and legal practice for students studying for the Legal Executive qualifications.
