Experience Profile

David is a senior associate and manager of the private client employment team at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Cardiff.

After graduating from Oxford University with a first class honours in 2004, he has gained almost 9 years of experience as an employment law solicitor. He joined Slater and Gordon as a senior associate in June 2016, having previously worked as a senior solicitor with Clarkslegal LLP.

David acts regularly in tribunal litigation for most kinds of employment law claims, such as unfair dismissal, maternity discrimination, disability discrimination, equal pay, unauthorised deductions from wages, breach of contract and non-payment of holiday pay. He has significant experience advising in cases involving the NHS and other public sector employers and has acted in a number of high value claims.

He often negotiates exits and settlements for medium to high-ranking employees and executives, including a number of senior employees working in global businesses and advises on the implications of restrictive covenants.
