I am passionate about ensuring that my clients secure the answers and compensation that they need following injury.

Dannielle Hart

Get to know Dannielle

I completed both my law degree and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Cardiff University, following which I joined Slater and Gordon as a paralegal in 2013. During this time I ran my own caseload of medical negligence claims as well as assisting one of our partners with a caseload of catastrophic claims. This began my passion for working with clients who had sustained an injury due to medical negligence.

I became a trainee solicitor in 2017 and undertook a seat in industrial disease, working on cases involving asbestosis and mesothelioma following asbestos exposure. I also undertook a seat in dispute resolution gaining experience in a wide range of legal issues of general litigation.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2019 into our medical negligence department in Cardiff.

I specialise in cases of medical negligence, working on cases involving hypoxic brain injury, birth injury and spinal injury, as well as representing clients in cases involving fatalities, misdiagnosis, delays in diagnosis and surgical errors.

Career highlights

I have been successful in representing claimants in a wide variety of claims throughout my career. It is always a privilege to play just a small role in securing answers and justice for claimants, as well as enabling them to receive the care and rehabilitation that they require following significant injury.

Recognition

In 2019 I was shortlisted as a finalist in the AvMA and Partners in Costs Magazine Awards.

The extra mile

I regularly participate in fundraising events for a number of charities throughout the year.

I am chairperson of a local Headway branch and I also volunteer regularly for a Headway group.

I have also been a part of a working party group between two charities preparing a bid for submission to the Welsh Assembly Government.
